UPLAND GAME : Upland game bird hunting for native grouse and woodcock in our area of the "county" is fabulous. Good bird covers are endless and we have access to many. It is not uncommon to have 20-50 flushes a day. Both pointing and flushing dogs are effective. We have excellent bird dogs, or hunters are welcome to bring their own dogs. (October) Guided upland game: $200 per person per day or $300 per day for 2 hunters.
