SECRET POND CAMPS are a set of 5 traditional log cabins, located in Moro Plantation, Aroostook county (map 58 Delorme). These camps are nestled between several million acres of wild commercial timberlands and a mix of old abandon farmland. This it prime game habitat for all the big game Maine has to offer.
Cabins sleep from 3 to 6 people and are set up for complete housekeeping. Each cabin is fully equipped with modern appliances, utensils, comfortable bunks, wood heat, electric, and indoor plumbing. We have a new central shower house. Meals are not included in the hunts. You cook what you want, when you want. There are several restaurant's within 15 miles of camp.
All hunts are 6 full days of hunting. Arrival time, is Sunday after 12:00 pm and depart the following Sunday by 9am. There is no Sunday hunting in Maine. Hunt prices include all professional guide services, all seasoned pro's., 4 wheel drive transportation, skinning, quartering, and freezing of your trophy, plus lodging and recovery of your game with a trained bearhound, if needed.
Having handled hundreds of big game trophies, you can rest assured yours will be A-1 for your taxidermist or ours. We have 100 tree stands and ground blinds, spread over a huge game rich wilderness. We have exclusive rights for our bear hunts on approx. 250 sq. miles. We take a limited number of clients each week, so we're always hunting fresh new areas. We have set ups to accommodates any weapon. We maintain a pack of 12-15 top grade bear and bobcat hounds, always equipped with telemetry equipment.
